To ensure a secure and reliable platform, all agents and landlords must meet the following requirements before listing a property:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must have legal ownership of the property or the authority to rent out the property.
- You must provide accurate and verifiable information regarding your identity and property ownership.
2. Required Documents for Verification
Before your property listing is approved, you must submit the following documents for verification:
- Proof of Property Ownership:
- Property Title Deed or Tenancy Agreement
- Utility Bill (with the property address)
- Personal Identification Documents:
- NRIC (for Singapore citizens and PRs) or Passport (for foreigners)
- Work Pass (if applicable)
- Company or Agent Verification Documents (if applicable):
- CEA Registration Number (for property agents)
- Business Registration Certificate (for company-owned properties)
- Other Relevant Documents:
- Any other official documentation that proves your right to list the property
All submitted documents will be reviewed by our team. We reserve the right to reject or request additional verification documents if necessary.
3. Accuracy and Legitimacy of Listings
- All listings must contain accurate details about the property, including pricing, amenities, and availability.
- You must not engage in misleading or fraudulent activities, including but not limited to misrepresenting ownership or falsifying documents.
- Listings that are found to contain inaccurate information or violate our policies may be removed without prior notice.
4. Security and Privacy
- All submitted documents will be handled with confidentiality and used solely for verification purposes.
- We do not share your personal information with third parties except as required by law or with your consent.
5. Listing Approval and Management
- Once verified, your listing will be published on our platform.
- You are responsible for updating or removing listings that are no longer available.
- We reserve the right to moderate, remove, or suspend listings that violate our terms.
6. Fees and Commissions
- Listing fees (if any) and commissions will be detailed separately.
- Agents and landlords are strictly prohibited from charging any agent fees, commission fees, or service fees to renters. All costs associated with listing and renting the property must be transparently stated upfront.
- Non-payment of applicable platform fees may result in the removal of your listing.
- Any violation of this policy may result in the removal of listings and suspension of the agent’s or landlord’s account.
7. Termination of Account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and listings if you:
- Provide false or misleading information.
- Fail to comply with our verification process.
- Engage in fraudulent or unethical practices.
8. Limitation of Liability
Acomo SG acts as a listing platform and does not guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted listings. We are not responsible for disputes between agents, landlords, and tenants.
9. Amendments to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
